Mesh (“Mesh”, “we”, “us”) is a professional networking app for entrepreneurs. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. By using Mesh you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information - email address and authentication details (via email or Google sign-in).
Profile information - name, date of birth, bio, industry/interest tags, revenue range, photos, and social links you choose to add.
Location - your city/country and, if you grant permission, approximate device location, used to show you relevant people and events. You can deny or revoke this at any time in your device settings.
Content you create - messages, group chats, events, courses, feature requests, and reports.
Camera - used only when you take or upload a photo or complete the optional “Human Verified” liveness check. Liveness is processed on your device; no video is uploaded or stored.
Usage - basic activity needed to operate features (e.g. logins, engagement score).

How we use your information

To create and operate your account and profile.
To match and connect you with other members and surface relevant events.
To enable messaging, groups, events, and courses.
To keep Mesh safe - reviewing reports and enforcing our rules.
To provide support and respond to your messages.

How information is shared

Your profile (name, photos, city, tags, revenue range, socials) is visible to other members as part of using a networking app. Social links open to other members only once you are connected. We do not sell your personal data or use it for cross-app advertising.

We use trusted service providers to run the app, including:

Supabase - database, authentication, and file storage.
Vercel - application hosting.
OpenStreetMap / BigDataCloud - to convert locations into city names.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Your rights

You can access and edit your information in the app, control location and camera permissions on your device, block or report other members, and delete your account. To exercise any other rights, contact us using the details below.

Children

Mesh is for adults (18+). It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
